I would if I could and I'd never leave my house
We had the girls "family birthday party" this weekend and this was, by far, the best part of the evening. I missed the better photo... she actually had her chin resting on her jeans (yes, I said jeans). So, of course, every other child (and some adults) attempted to strike the same pose but alas... Lolo is the only one! One day she will run away and join the cirque du soleil!
I'm an Asshat...
This is what happens when I convince myself that I am a carpenter (I am also a hair stylest, makeup artist, interior decorator, teacher, child psychologist and life coach in addition to being the president & CEO of the Sorci Clan). So, the girls beds are all together and they look way better than my calf (pretty colors though, aren't they?)

why do you hate jesus?
Josh: Why do you hate my school?
me: What? (and inside my head: WTF?)
Josh: You said that you hated my school.
me: (since it is possible...) When did I say that I hated your school?
Josh: You said you were not catholic and you don't go to church.
me: That is true... now whats this about your school?
Josh: I go to catholic school and we go to church.
me: I am not catholic. I'm sure that your school is a wonderful school. While I disagree with the dogma of the catholic church, that doesn't mean that I necessarily hate your school (however, now that you bring it up... I think I might just hate your school).
Annie (my BFF): You're debating religion with a 6 year old?
Josh: Everybody should goto church.
me: jesus christ. (I may be going to hell in a bucket baby... but at least I'm enjoyin' the ride... ride, ride, ride... at least I'm enjoyin' the ride)
Anyhoo... overall we had fun and I'm seriously considering signing the girls up for bowling lessons (6 weeks for $50 - not too bad). We'll take Josh too if he's okay with riding in a car with all us sinners (I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints... the sinners are much more fun). I'll keep you posted on the whole "bowling for jesus" scenario, k?
peace-out,

Happy Birthday Vadin!
The girls gettin' their party on!
Meg would throw/roll the ball and not even watch what it hit... for the record, she won with a score of 108.
Maggie has become very good with the camera! Momma was a little tired though.

HAPPY GRACE'S BIRTHDAY!!!

I have no response for that...
Well, I thought I'd post this photo because alas, poor Meg-Moo has caught herself our loverly little stomach virus. Miss Ocie shared her illness with myself and Grace and we felt it only fair that we share with poor li'l Meg. Christ but she's tiny! And the poor little thing must've lost 5 pounds during what we refer to as "Pukefest 2008" early this morning. She is napping on the couch and feeling much better now though.
Yes... they are waaay-hay into Hannah Montana. David bought them the Blonde gettups and they fancy themselves little rock stars now! I really only have one thing to say about the matter... this Miley chick needs to write herself some new songs and how because I cannot listen to The Best of Both Worlds any-fucking-longer you little spoiled BRAT!!!!! Oh, okay... I feel better now.

swimming spaztastics
I just discovered that I could link my video to my individual posts! This is from the summer when we went swimming at Uncle Stueys! They had such a blast... but the spastic swimming style freaks me out every time! I am always wondering if I should throw Maggie a life preserver! Still... too cute!

the mighty aphrodite
This image is of Grace scaling the climbing wall... Everest is next!! She was so determined and wouldn't quit until she made it all the way around the wall! Strong-willed... wonder where she gets that from?
While in the Dancing Wings Butterly Exhibit, Maggie had two butterflies land on her while walking thru... just to put this in perspective: no other person in our group (of 25 people) had a butterfly actually land on them. We had butterflies placed upon us for photographs but none of us (with the exception of Miss Moo) had one actually land on us as we walked about! She has many angels around her!
This butterfly was gorgeous!
We dubbed her "Li'l Moosh"!
Could it be that Maggie is our
own little "Psyche" incarnate?
